Perks 2012 - Make Sure You're Included!
Would you like to submit an offer to fellow members as part of the Perks scheme?
This year we are making a few changes to the scheme which should mean increased flexibility for businesses offering a Perk and a wider, even stronger set of offers for members to use.
For those unfamiliar with the scheme, Visit York's members (all 700+ of you) benefit from a ‘pool' of special deals offered by fellow members. These range from free entry to attractions, to retail offers, to restaurant deals, special discounts and added value packages for business services. Up to now the year round Perks offers are listed in a folded 12 page booklet.
This year we are moving the scheme on and plan to:
• Replace the 12 page card with a credit card sized membership card which will allow you to access the scheme
• All offers will only be viewable online at the new Perks page on www.visityork.org/corporate which will go live during January.
• Increase promotion of the scheme with a monthly segment in the Visit York Members' eNews and regular promotion through Social Media
This means the scheme will become more flexible and you can add ‘limited time only' offers throughout the year. The offers will be redeemable upon production of the membership card. It's important that all staff members are made aware of the offer you put on.
You can make any offer you wish but would just ask you to keep the following in mind:
• Keep the offer simple
• Attach as few conditions as possible
• The better the offer, the better the take up
You can download an offers submission form here. Please complete and return by Friday 13th January 2012.
If your offer isn't available until later in the year, please submit it now and we will store it until it's valid.
If you have any questions on the scheme please contact Paul Whiting, Business Engagement Assistant on 01904 554426 or email paw@visityork.org.
